Overview

KC Flag Co. stands behind the quality of our flags. All of our flags are constructed from the most versatile and longest lasting fabrics available. This policy explains your rights and our remedies if a flag you purchase is defective, and describes how to request a return, replacement, or refund for purchases made through kcflagco.com.

 

Limited Warranty (30 Days) Limited Warranty

A Limited Warranty is a written promise that KC Flag Co. will repair, replace, or refund products that fail due to manufacturing defects under the specific terms and time period stated below. This Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear, or other exclusions listed in this policy.

Availability: This Limited Warranty is available to view prior to purchase and upon request.

Warranty terms:

  • Coverage: KC Flag Co. warrants to the direct purchaser that our products are free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 30 days from the date of shipment.
  • Remedy: If a product fails to conform to this warranty within the warranty period and the defect is verified by KC Flag Co., KC Flag Co. will replace the defective product or issue a refund for the purchase price (excluding original outbound shipping). KC Flag Co. will pay return shipping for approved warranty claims.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover defects or product failure caused by improper installation, neglect, overloading, accidental misuse, alteration, modification, vandalism, or normal wear and fading from exposure to sun, wind, rain, or other weathering. It also does not cover damage resulting from commercial resale, export, or industrial use beyond ordinary residential or civic display.

 

Damages and Issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and try to make it right.

 

Returns and Exchanges (30‑Day Return Window)

At KC Flag Co. we stand behind our products and make your satisfaction a priority. If a product is defective or fails to meet the criteria outlined in this Limited Warranty, we will replace the defective product or issue a refund, after verification.

  • Return window: Contact us within 30 days of shipment to request a return, exchange, or warranty claim.
  • Return shipping costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non‑warranty returns. KC Flag Co. will pay return shipping for approved warranty claims.
  • Defective items: If an item is found to have a covered manufacturing defect, we will authorize a replacement or refund and provide instructions for return shipping and reimbursement.
  • Non‑defective returns: Returns of non‑defective, non‑custom flags may be accepted at our discretion if requested within 30 days. Such returns may be subject to inspection and a restocking fee; the customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • Non‑returnable items: We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Custom, personalized, specially ordered, or clearance items are final sale and not eligible for return unless defective.

Eligibility for Non‑Defective Returns

To be eligible for a non‑defective return, the item must be in the original like‑new condition as received: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You must also provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you return shipping instructions explaining how and where to send your package. Items returned to us without a prior RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) will not be accepted. Do not return items without prior authorization.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at support@kcflagco.com.

 

Exchanges

To process an exchange, return your original item in like‑new condition with tags and original packaging and obtain an RMA; once the return is accepted and refunded, place a new order for the replacement item.

 

How to Request a Warranty Claim or Return

For warranty claims (manufacturing defects):

  1. Contact Customer Support directly within 30 days of shipment. Do not initiate warranty claims through the customer account portal.

  2. Provide the following with your request: order number; a brief description of the issue; and clear photos showing the defect or damage.
  3. We will review your submission and respond with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and instructions if a return or replacement is approved. Do not return items without prior authorization.
  4. After we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome and, if approved, process a replacement or refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 7-10 business days after processing.

For non-defective returns (changed mind, unwanted item):

  1. You may initiate a return request by logging in to your account at https://account.kcflagco.com, selecting your order, and submitting a return request. Alternatively, contact us at support@kcflagco.com or 816-282-2588.
  2. Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

 

Shipping and Additional Terms

  • Shipping delay remedy: If we fail to ship your order within 30 days, we can offer a refund.
  • International returns: Customers outside the United States are responsible for return shipping, customs, duties, and taxes unless KC Flag Co. agrees otherwise in writing.
  • Transfer of rights: This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
  • Inspection and verification: All returns are subject to inspection. If we determine the item is not defective or the return does not meet policy requirements, we may refuse the refund or replacement and return the item to you at your expense.
  • State law: This policy describes certain remedies; you may have additional rights under applicable state law that are not limited by this policy.
